I was looking for a home in a very limited area; just three streets, each about one-half mile long, abutting a local park. That did not deter Katrina. She was diligent about referring listings just beyond that area, which helped me better understand the market. As time went by, I gave serious consideration to a couple of those listings, but I held out for my unicorn. Then, seven months after we began, Katrina heard a house was coming on the market in my area. She arranged for us to see the house at 10:00 AM the day it went on the market. Even within my small area there were some locations that were preferable to others, and this was one of the best. Looking out the picture window at the large backyard and the tall trees rising from it I knew this was the place. Katrina talked me through my offer decision, which she made that afternoon. The seller was offering the home as is. To make sure there weren’t any “showstoppers” Katrina arranged for a thorough home inspection with a trusted inspector. Later, when the lender’s assessor found a few minor concerns that needed to be fixed Katrina advised me on the simplest way to resolve them. She was with me at closing and there when the seller’s agent handed me the keys. I am very grateful that my lender recommended Katrina.

We moved to the area from England, Katrina set up two different zoom meetings prior to our arrival to make sure we were all on the same page and knew what to expect when we got here. She had nine different homes for us to visit with her on the first day we looked at houses. All the homes were within our budget, she had honest and upfront feedback about every house and how it fit or didn’t fit what we were looking for. We made an offer on a house that same day and it was accepted. She did a great job of working with us all the way until we signed for the house, always quick to answer questions we had.
